The aim of Counselling and Psychotherapy Month is to recognize the essential services that counsellors/counselling therapists/psychotherapists provide and offer support to those practitioners via educational opportunities and community building. Members of the public can find Canadian Certified Counsellors (CCC) on the CCPA public directory and more resources on the public-facing Talking Can Help website.
Celebrate Yellow Day on April 12 and attend a FREE public webinar on Brain health and Resilience on April 22. As well, the virtual Parliament Hill week on April 25-27 will call on all parties to ensure the Federal Government provides equitable access to ALL mental health service providers – including counsellors/counselling therapists/psychotherapists – for ALL Canadians!
